The Core DJs Retreat IX: Postponed!

 

Myrtle Beach, SC - Due to the imminent possibility that Hurricane/Tropical Storm Hanna will hit the Carolina's this Friday and Saturday, Tony Neal and the Core DJ's are forced to reschedule the upcoming Core DJ Retreat IX from this coming weekend, to the weekend of October 10th - 13th.

THE CORE DJ Retreat IX will unite many of  today's hit breaking DJ's, ground breaking artist, music industry professionals, and innovators for a weekend of  networking, performances, new music and celebrations honoring those who bring music to the masses.

The Core DJ Retreat acts as a reunion for all DJs by inviting them to join together, no matter what crew/DJ affiliations they have, to network while attending listening sessions, panels and seminars detailing new industry trends. New artists performances presented by many of today's leading labels including Atlantic Records, Def Jam, Warner Brothers, Konvit Muzic, Interscope, J Records, Jive Records, So So Def, Rap-A-Lot Records, Bad Boy Entertainment, Capitol Records, DTP, Grand Hustle, CTE, and others allow for DJ's   and industry professionals to hear and mingle with today's hottest acts and icons from Hip Hop, Rap and R&B.

The Core is excited to partner with the newly formed TAG Records. This venture by Island Def Jam Music Group (IDJMG) and Proctor & Gamble (P&G) brings together Hip Hop Culture and urban market with one of the most innovative branding and product companies in the world. Taking the helm of this venture will be industry veteran and music mogul Jermaine Dupre.   "This is a non-traditional approach that blends our most valuable artist and their music, with the power of brand marketing." states Jeff Straughn VP of strategic marketing for IDJMG.
